Andrew Romberger, Founder

Andrew (“Andy”) Romberger has been counseling entrepreneurs, executives, directors and corporate boards of directors for businesses at all stages of growth and in a variety of industries for over 17 years.  Prior to founding ALR Law, LLC in 2015, Andy was the Vice President and General Counsel of Nuron Biotech, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company based in Exton, Pennsylvania that marketed and developed vaccines for the prevention of childhood infectious diseases as well as specialty biologics for the prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative disorders.  At Nuron Biotech, Andy had responsibility for legal affairs and human resources, supported Board of Directors activities and directly participated in the company’s business strategy. While at Nuron Biotech, Andy guided Nuron Biotech’s acquisition and divestiture of various pharmaceutical products ranging from pre-clinical to commercial stage assets, including Nuron Biotech’s acquisition of Meningitec™, which was named as the “Deal of the Year” by the Pennsylvania Bio in 2012.  Andy also guided Nuron Biotech’s in-licensing, out-licensing and joint-venturing efforts throughout the world, including in Japan, India, Russia and Brazil.  

Prior to joining Nuron Biotech in 2012, Andy was an associate and then a partner at the Exton, Pennsylvania office of Fox Rothschild LLP.  Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Andy was an associate at the Berwyn, Pennsylvania office of Pepper Hamilton LLP and, before that, at the San Jose, California office of Hopkins & Carley.  Andy’s prior experience in private practice focused primarily on business matters affecting emerging growth companies in the technology and life science sectors such as mergers, acquisitions, technology licenses, joint ventures, finance and other commercial relationships.  

Andy has been named a Pennsylvania Rising Star, a distinction bestowed on only 2.5% of Pennsylvania’s up and coming attorneys by Law & Politics and published in Philadelphia magazine.  Andy has also been a regular speaker at CPE and CLE events and at in-house training seminars.

Andy received his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in Santa Clara, California and his undergraduate degree in International Management/French from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  Andy is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
